Senate Bill 157, Printer’s Number 144 (Fontana) – Freestanding legislation to create a Task Force on Homeless Children’s Education.

A00510 – The Chair will offer a technical amendment on behalf of Senator Dinniman and the prime sponsor.

Senate Bill 159, Printer’s Number 147 (Robbins) – Freestanding legislation to authorize the Commonwealth to join the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children.

A00508 – The Chair will offer a technical amendment on behalf of the prime sponsor.

Senate Bill 200, Printer’s Number 333 (Browne) – Freestanding legislation to establish standards for the management of concussions and traumatic brain injuries to student athletes involved in interscholastic sporting competitions or other athletic events.

A00527 – Senator Browne will offer a technical amendment.

Senate Bill 203, Printer’s Number 172 (Dinniman) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to move into the School Code previously enacted provisions in the Fiscal Code related to articulation agreements between higher education institutions. The Fiscal Code provisions expire on June 30, 2011.

Senate Bill 224, Printer’s Number 193 (Piccola) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to expand the list of convicted offenses that prohibit a person from being employed in a public or private school, intermediate unit or area vocational-technical school.

Senate Bill 244, Printer’s Number 210 (Kasunic) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to add a new section relating to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Senate Bill 251, Printer’s Number 359 (Piccola) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to provide for transparency in school district contracting.

Senate Bill 328, Printer’s Number 305 (Dinniman) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to provide for restoration of operating privileges.

Senate Bill 343, Printer’s Number 335 (Piccola) – Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to provide for a statutory framework for collection of identifying student information by the Pennsylvania Department of Education when required under Federal or state law.
